The Carolina Center for Music Therapy

The Carolina Center for Music Therapy, LLC, seeks to provide music therapy services of the highest quality to children and adults with special needs in the Triangle community.

To carry out this mission, the Carolina Center for Music Therapy, LLC, will:

Recognize of the role of music as a force of change in individuals, groups, and the community
Attract the best qualified music therapists that are talented and innovative
Commit to lasting relationships with its clients and patients
Engage in collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts with other professionals
Provide continuing education and professional supervision for all of its employees
Always place the client or patient as the top priority in providing individualized care

The history of CCMT begins with another company’s end. Triangle Music Therapy, Inc., has been a successful music therapy business and was actively involved in raising awareness of music therapy in the Triangle and surrounding areas. Its director, Margaret Roesch, decided to continue her career in another state, and as a result, the company ended.

A former employee of hers, Angie Hong, decided to start a company in continued commitment to the community, and thus, The Carolina Center for Music Therapy, LLC, was born.
